Card and Gift Bag for Mother's Day

Hello, for the Get Inky! challenge going on I made this project using the digi. Mother's Day Funky Flowers form Get Inky! for Blue Moon Creation. The challenge theme is Flowers.  Go check it out there are some pretty prizes....

Using a premade white paper gift bag and some Glimmer mists by tattered angels in Wheat Field and Tattered Rose, I coloured the bag up using the sprays and a rose stencil I have.  The card is a standard 5 x 6 pre folded card that I adhered a handmade cotton paper with gold threads embedded, on top of which I attached a piece of printed vellum that I also embossed with a Cuddle Bug Baby's Breath folder. I inked the embossing with Victorian Velvet Distress ink by Ranger.  I downloaded and printed the Mothers Day Funky Flowers digital (Get Inky!) onto white card stock, cut it into a circle, and coloured the flowers with various Prismacolor pencils.  I cut a larger light pink circle as a base and then an even larger fuchsia circle which I further cut with a circle die cut punch by Fiskar.  I made little bows from 1/4" rose coloured satin ribbon.  The card is sticking to the bag by having its corners temporarily held up by some clear photo corners by Creative Memories.  That way the recipient can remove the card without damaging the card or bag.  I added the big satiny light pink ribbon and a silk pink daisy type flower to the bag handle.

The gift itself consists of some gardening goodies:  gloves, tools, seeds, and bulbs.
I hope you like this.  Don't forget to check out the challenge and prizes at http://getinkychallenge.blogspot.com.  Please leave a comment and enter your email to follow me.
