A Circle Challenge

Hello, thanks for stopping by.  I was asked to create a card for the Blue Moon Crafting Station (Get Inky!) blog using their stamps and circles made from punches.  This was such fun.  Here is what I came up with.

To make this guy I used my old but trusty Creative Memories circle punch (Shape Makers) and scraps of card stock from my stash (most likely originally from Staples).  I used some of the new stamps that are available here.  The ink is Ranger Archival Black and I used colouring pencils in cream, white, peach and light yellow from Prismacolour.  To make the grass I used my Martha Stewart Scissors that cut fringes.  The beach ball in the centre was coloured with some Bic permanent markers and I used a brad from Making Memories.  I also used a Fine tip black Sharpie for the drawn parts.

Don't forget to check out the present "Circle" challenge over at the Blue Moon/Get Inky challenge blog.
Thanks again.

Wednesday and what am I doing?

Hi, today one of the many things on my to do list is to complete some cards for the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine 2014 Stamping royalty Contest.  I am entering this contest as I see it benefits others win or lose.  You see, all the entrants that are not selected will have their cards donated to a worth while project called:  Operation Write Home.  So in a way we all win!

The idea was presented to me and the other Designers on the Get Inky! blog by Thia, owner of Blue Moon Creations as a way to motivate our team and mostly to contribute to a worthwhile cause.  You can see the beautiful work my team mates do over at the blog here.

I am also sharing this with the rest of my friends over at What's on your work desk Wednesday.  Hi Julia!

Here is a shot of some of the stamped images(Blue Moon Creations) I am colouring with Prismacolour pencils.  That is all I am showing here as this is a competition.  Plus, I am not done!.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

It's fun to be Irish

Hi there, I know I am not Irish but it is still fun to wear green and partake of all the fun on Saint Patrick's day which is coming up.  I made this card  for the Bluemoon Creations Carfting station over at the Get Inky! blog and the current St. Patty's day challenge.  I used papers from my stash and stamps by Blue Moon "Circle of Love", and "Hugs, Love, and Misses Ovals" (Available here).

In addition to the scrapbook papers I used a pre scored white card from Recollections (Michaels), black Archival Ranger Ink from Ranger's, and green foam clover leaf stickers from Dollarama.

Have fun this Saint Patrick's day.  Thank you for stopping by.
