I started on this creative journey when I was very young and could hold a crayon. I learned to sew before I learned to read and write! My first creations were dresses for my dolls, and soon I was making bags, toys, and eventually my own clothing. I have always wanted to learn how to make anything and everything. I have enjoyed collecting tools and supplies forever. I was taught many skills by my mom, I took classes and even attended a Fine Arts program in College. What I could not learn through formal training I taught myself.
Now I enjoy making Mixed Media Art as I can incorporate all my loves into one project: whether it be paper crafting, sewing, painting, drawing, knitting, crochet, and just about everything else.
Today I am an accredited Designer in the Arts and Crafts Industry, an Influencer, and a Digital Content Creator. I Design patterns, and projects for various manufacturers, I write How To's, and DIY's for publication, I essentially create every day and I love it!
My studio is in our home where I live with my two sons, husband, and fur baby cat. We are in the Ottawa region in Canada where we get to experience 4 wondrous and changing seasons a year.
