Save a Turkey, go Vegan!

Ok, I am just joking everyone!  My family and I are way too fond of meat to go vegan or vegetarian.  Even though we are surrounded by wildlife and are complete suckers for homeless animals we still are carnivores of the lazy variety.  We buy our meats, we can't and won't hunt.  We are great gatherers though!  LOL!

Seriously, it is my turn to post a project with the intent to inspire the followers of the Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station to make something and post it on the challenge blog.  In return those who participate have the chance of winning some free stuff and becoming famous, on the www!
so here is the card I made in the spirit of the season, I hope you enjoy.

Saying Goodbye to Summer...

Awww!  Parting is such sweet sorrow... Leaving the warmth of Summer behind and going head on into the brisk and crisp Fall air is challenging, but ohh what beautiful colours there are to see.
In my part of the world the seasons change dramatically and Mother Nature always presents a show.  The leaves on the trees have been slowly changing colours and the new blustery winds are knocking them down to the ground.  When I was offered to be on the new Design Team for Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station I jumped at the chance to be able to use some fabulous new stamps and digitals.  Here is the sample I made as inspiration for the first challenge: "Halloween Fall", over at the Challenge Blog.

I used a pre made scored card made of kraft paper available from the recollections brand at Michaels. The image is from the Digital collection at the  BMCCS,  Digi Digi Doodle Shop, which I printed onto cream card stock (Staples) .  I used card stocks in yellow and orange from the Papaya Puree Collection by  Prism .  the string is from my stash (most likely Dollarama), the maple leaf brad is also from my stash, and I used a Fiskars punch to make the paper maple leaves.

I hope that you enjoyed your stop here today and please remember to check out the new blog and products at Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station.

Thanks and see you soon.

Studio Table Show and Tell

Hi, as part of a group of messy or shall I say CREATIVE artists I am sharing a picture of my Studio Table today.  Normally I clean up after a session of making stuff, so just as I was cleaning up this desk following a stamp carving frenzy I remembered "Take a picture".  You see Seth (over here) has organized this visual feast for all those "voyeurs"  who would like a peek into the artistic process.  So here goes...

This is actually quite tidy compared to most days!

Thanks for stopping by.

Firefly card

Hello fellow stamping lovers!  Today I have a little project to share with you.  I was asked to create a lil' something with some wash tape for the Blue Moon Creations Crafting station for the current challenge.  I combined an itty bitty card design with a little bit of washi tape for a cute card with a HUGE sentiment.  It is a super simple card to make and this washi tape I have been hoarding for a long time was calling out to me to be used.

To make the card I used:

the stamps " Love Bugs" from Blue Moon Creations (retired set)
Sakura gel pens in Yellow and Green
Prima Marketing Washi tape
Staples card stock

I hope this inspires you to make some of your own projects.  Thanks for looking!

Some inspiration for Mother's Day and just because I love flowers

A happy Mother's Day to all the mom's!  I am pleased to celebrate this day as I am the proud mom of two tall and beautiful teenage boys. I am also fortunate to have a mom who is now a great grandmother, and I also have a mother in law.  The three of us share a love of flowers.

Hi, today I have this card I made for Spring time occasions such as Mother's Day and Easter.

I used the stamps "Happy Spring 2014" available here.http://www.bluemooncreation.net/Stamp-Sets.html.

Supplies:
White card base by Recollections (Michaels)
Lavendar and purple card stocks from Staples
Gel Pens by Sakura (neon yellow, pink, green)
Souffle pens by Sakura (green, Lavendar)
Ink by Ranger "Jet Black" Archival
Spray from "Rose Art Dual Action Spray Writers" by Megabrand
Ribbons from Offray

I hope that you are inspired to make some spring time cards for any occasions coming up or as a way to get ahead for next year!  By the way don't forget to "Spring" on over to the Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station (Get Inky!) blog for more fun.
